It is a fantastic venue and the Team at the Castle Museum are very organised and supportive. We felt safe and that the experience contributes to the children's learning at an excellent standard. Highly recommend this venue for educational visits.

A fantastic visit where our Year 7 pupils gained a valuable insight into life in Norman England. All of the sessions were thoroughly engaging.

The trip met our learning objectives as the children were able to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of the Beowulf story. They were able to handle/view real artefacts and engage with adults playing the roles of Anglo Saxon and Viking people. All children were engaged throughout the day and remained focused and on task.

Newest version of Storming the Castle has been revised to include more open ended tasks, problem solving and ties in with the KS3 curriculum

Good revision sessions for medicine KS4; the artefacts were particularly good.

Great trip, the staff were amazing. Making the teaching understandable for KS1 even though it was aimed at KS2.
